Polymeric active elements for Nd:YAG lasers Polyrod 585 and Polyrod 650 are used in dermatology and cosmetic surgery in systems for removal of tattooes, pigmentary spots, tracks of skin damages, hair, handling of vessels etc.

Polyrods represent the cylinder with diameter 25±0,4 mm and height 25±0,5 mm. they have the following characteristics:

Flatness not more 14 rings;
Wedging not more 3 minutes of arc;
Surface quality - 60\40 scr\dig;
Dye concentration:

For Pyrromethene 597 - 10-4 mol / liter;
For Pyrromethene 650 - 3x10-4 mol / liter;
Optimum efficiency of conversion:

For Polyrod 597 - 80 %;
For Polyrod 650 - 50 % with energy density of pumping 2,4 Joule/sm2;
Nominal output energy:

On a wavelength 585 nm - 250 ìJoule;
On a wavelength 650 nm - 150 ìJoule;
Nominal density of output energy:

On a wavelength 585 nm - 8,0 joule/sm2at a spot of 2,0 mm;
On a wavelength 650 nm - 4,5 joule/sm2at a spot of 2,0 mm;
Pulse frequency:

On a wavelength 585 nm - 2 Hz;
On a wavelength 650 nm - 1 Hz;
Minimum resource:
