Our company owns unique technique of deriving of the modified polymethyl methacrylate (MPMMA), capable to withstand repeated effect of impulse laser light of high intensity (up to 109 W/сm2) and possessing the greater, as contrasted to routine polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) transparency to light radiation.
Experts of our company by a method of precision machining make different polymeric optical devices of this material, such as lenses, prisms, dividing plates, optical wedges, "soft" diaphragms, passive Q-Switches, the fissile devices, goniolenses, separate devices of integral optics.
Nowadays polymeric fissile devices which are used in the laser equipment used in cosmetology have got great distribution. So, for example, the fissile devices the Polyrod 585 and the Polyrod 650 are applied in laser system Medlite C6 of Hoya Conbio USA. These devices are used for conversion of radiation of the second harmonics Nd:YAG the laser (532 nm) in laser light by a wavelength 585 nm and 650 nm accordingly. Our company has already been delivering for 3 years these devices on the USA market.
Polymeric fissile devices, as a rule, represent cylinders or plates from MPMMA, with impregnated in a polymeric matrix generating dye. Application of polymeric fissile devices in lasers with a modulated quality-factor allows receiving laser light with any wavelength in range from 500 nm up to 700 nm. Optical losses and contortions in these devices are shown to a minimum due to a high homogeneity of used environment, absence of significant efforts and dispersing centers, and also for the score to especially precise optical handling of working surfaces of devices. This quality and the exact selection of dyes ensure a high performance of conversion of laser light (up to 80 %).
