Composite casting material "Kompar-P" is used to get high-precision solid copies (replicas) of the surfaces of glass, metal and other articles compatible with it for the following instrumental control and visual inspection of the roughness with the help of a copy (including a copy of a thread) instead of an article. It can be also used in machine and mechanism repairing. "Kompar" permits to get copies at different angles and can be used for getting copies of the surfaces difficult to access, such as internal threads, undercuts, while working in field condition. Copies can be used as samples. This material permits to control the depth and dimensions of local defects of a surface, such as microcracks, corrosion etc.
"Kompar" is a composite material of chemical hardening. It is made of the mixture of low-volative diacrylates with inorganic filling material. The set consists of two pastes (catalyst - accelerate paste A, basic - peroxide paste B) of different colours. The pastes are polymerized (hardened) after their mixing up in the ratio of one to one.

Technical characteristics:

1. Roughness parameters (Ra) from 0,04 micron.
   
2. Penetrability: up to 5 micron.
   
3. Mixing time - not more than 1 min.
   
4. Molding time - not less than 1,5 min.
   
5. Hardening time - from 8 up to 20 min.
   
6. Hardness - not less than 200 МPа.
